The parsnip 'Half length white' is a very old, biennial and versatile root vegetable that originates from southern and central Europe. Thousands of years ago, root vegetables were a rich staple food until they were replaced by today's potatoes and carrots. The juice of the parsnip was used as medicine during the great plague epidemic. This high-yielding variety produces 20-30 cm long, very even and well-formed creamy white, wedge-shaped roots with tall, strong and healthy leaves. The white roots have a pleasantly sweet and spicy taste and can be stored for a long time.

Additional tips
In order to quickly obtain a fine, crumbly and permeable soil, we recommend additional incorporation of biochar and primary rock powder.
Type of propagation
It spreads via seeds.
Plant care
Due to the initially slow growth of the parsnips, it is recommended to weed the surrounding herbs regularly. Regular and constant watering results in faster growth. Beds prepared with animal manure and planting in mixed culture replace additional fertilizer.
